This 32.5 acre wonderfully wooded park is located just north of the Arkansas River Bridge on Memorial in Bixby, just south of 134th and Memorial.
Located in the park, visitors will find:
- Laci Dawn Hill Butterfly Garden
- Memorial to the children of the Murrah Building bombing
- Memorial to world trade center terrorist act
- Picnic tables, the
- Walking trail
Other developments include an amphitheater and a restroom facility with covered patio. The BBQ ‘n Music Festival is held each year here, providing a shaded, pleasant atmosphere for festival attendees. This is also the location for the free Yoga in the Park (PDF) program.
Reservations
Reservations are accepted for a section or sections within Washington Irving Park. This is the only park available for reservations. If interested in completing a reservation, please complete the please complete the Event Registration and Permit Form (PDF) . Once completed, return form to the Receptionist’s Desk located within City Hall at 116 W Needles.
